A Spain customer recently installed our 300 kg/h copper wire granulator, a traditional model widely used in scrap metal yards and small recycling facilities. However, due to the complexity and large size of the input cables, the initial setup could not achieve ideal separation results—some copper granules remained mixed with plastic.
To address this, we customized the solution by adding a double-shaft shredder for pre-processing. This shredder breaks down bulky cables into smaller pieces before they enter the standard recycling line. After pre-shredding, the material is conveyed to the secondary crusher, followed by airflow separation, electrostatic separation, and vibrating screening. This multi-stage process ensures a 99.9% separation rate, producing clean, high-purity copper granules.
